I’ve been a Computer Tutor for 12 years. I specialize in teaching beginning and intermediate computer users. Here’s what I teach:

I tutor remotely. The program I use keeps your computer very secure. We can both see and move around on your computer screen while we talk on the phone. That way I can show you exactly what to do. My clients really like it and say it’s almost like being in person.

I’ve taught people all across the U.S. and can tutor around the world using Skype. The cost is $10 for each 15 minutes, with only a 15-minute minimum. That way I can help you even with little things. If you don’t like remote tutoring after a few minutes, there’s no charge. I take credit cards, PayPal, and checks.

Before I became a Computer Tutor I worked in the technology department at BizBuyer.com. I also have a B.A. in journalism and worked as a Staff Reporter for the Los Angeles Business Journal for six years. Several years ago I combined my skills to write and publish the book A Very Very Beginner’s Guide to Using Computers.

I’ve tutored adults of all ages, from their 20s to their 90s. In addition, I’ve taught beginning classes at Oasis, a school for seniors in West Los Angeles.
